WhiteStar Legal Mapper: Beta Testers Wanted

We are excited about the new enhancements to our WhiteStar Legal Mapper, now at version 2.4. This product works as an add-on to Esri’s ArcGIS Pro. The module’s main purpose is to use natural language processing (NLP) to speed the process of semi-automatically creating a GIS polygon from an original land legal document and thus increase productivity and save time and money.

You can read generally about the WhiteStar Legal Mapper here and view particular benefits and features of version 2.4 by clicking here

We are looking for technical people willing to invest up to four hours to map an example of one of their own legal description documents. These can be either an oil and gas lease, wind lease, easement or right-of-way document - anything described in terms of metes and bounds.

A member of our tech team will help you to install, configure and process a sample document of your own. In exchange, you will receive a 90 day free license to the software. One lucky person with the most valuable feedback will obtain a free license key for one year.

Interested? Email us at info@whitestar.com to express your interest in enrolling in the beta testing program.

Metes and bounds are highlighted in the legal document to create a utility right-of-way. The user first specifies township-range-section, then locates a parcel by APN number, and then clicks the highlighted metes and bounds to define the utility easement.
